Dire Straits

OK Everyone,

This is Seth, the Programmer for The Clinton St. Theater Checking in.

Things have been VERY SSSSSLLLLLLLLLLOOOOoooooowwwwwww....

at The Clinton.

Slower then I have ever seen.

Lots of factors are involved, and I am not one to place blame on anyone or anything.

If anyone has ANY suggestions on films that people will actually come and watch then I am ALL Ears.

If things don't turn around soon, we are going to turn the theater into a Starbucks (Relax, I am just kidding)

If there ever was a time to support The Clinton, it's right now as we are all starving to death.

Some Great Films Coming Up:
1. 24 Hours on Craigslist
2. Kamikaze Girls
3. The Gobbels Experiment

ALL Portland Premieres, and All Clinton St. Theater Exclusives.

Come on out and see a Movie!!!

Sincerely,
Seth Sonstein
Programmer
Clinton St. Theater

Bring back the original Ichi the Killer and Riki-Oh: The Story of Ricky

Even better would be Woo's Hard Boiled and The Killer

Sadly I am moving from Portland most likely this December. I will miss the RHPS here in Portland. It is my favorite past time. I will be moving my ass down to Albany and as I know that they do have a RHPS down there, it will never be the same. I know I probably just sound like another Junkie/Slut at the Rocky but I will never be the same. Say that I'm exhasterbating say whatever the fuck you want. I love you guys. And please never EVER turn into starshmucks.

You said your business is slow.....I have never heard of this theater untill heard about Craigslist, so i think you should do some advertisments in the portland metro area, post up on CL or get a commerical or two.....let yourselfs be known....

I totally agree with Jonathan. I'm really impressed with Clinton Street's support of local bike culture over the last couple years. I don't know what you think of it, Seth, but CST is getting to be known as the local bike theater. I say take it, it's a guaranteed crowd.
