Seconds anyone?

Children of Men started up this past weekend and is breaking all kinds of attendance records....thus vailidating our experimentation with second-run features. It's going so well, we're holding it over into next week.

That being said, the Jadorowsky double feature will be split up and spread over two weeks. Also, the Treasures of Long Gone John will be bumped to the week of April 6th...

That's great that you guys are doing well again.I was there several times last year seeing movies BY MYSELF!One suggestion, see if you can start your late shows earlier especially your cult movie series.Or maybe show them twice on Friday at 7 and 9:15.Good luck

Great that your attendace is good. I personally might not go to see a second-run show at the Clinton again unless I hear of some upgrades to the sound system. The quality of the sound for Children of Men was such that I probably missed at least 20% of the dialogue. I'm pretty sure this was an equipment issue and not a print thing because the music played before the show also sounded like it was coming down a long tunnel filled with cotton... I could definitely produce better sound in that space with my home stereo and a DVD. Perhaps a fundraiser for some new amps/Eq/speakers/cable?
